MOUAU Portal Guidelines for Fresh Students & College Officers

General

This document is intended to provide a guide to all Fresh Students & College Officers during the screening & online registration process. This University portal will ensure three major things.

  1. The University is able to capture all the necessary data of fresh students in a technology compliant and easy-to-access format.
  2. Each fresh student is issued a unique registration number with the backing of technology that guarantees that NO two students are issued the same registration number.
  3. Each fresh student registers his/her courses online.
The Processes
1.                  Post – UME Result checking:
  1. All the results for the just concluded Post – UME screening exercise as were published to the Internet are still live on the University Website/Portal (www.mouau.edu.ng).
  2. Students who are yet to access these results can still do so. The results can still be accessed using the candidates Post – UME Registration number.
  3. All technical reports should be directed to theWebMaster.
2.                  Admission Status Checking & Acceptance Fee:
  1. The University has published the names of all successful candidates in the current admission exercise on her website.
  2. Successful candidates can check their admission status online via the University website by using their JAMB registration numbers.
  3. The inability of any student to access his/her Provisional Admission Letter on the University website suggests that such a student has not yet been given admission.
  4. ONLY successful/admitted candidates will find their Provisional Admission Letter on the website.
  5. At the bottom of the Provisional Admission Letter there is a link for successful candidates to accept their admission and pay school fees online. This requires the PIN codes from the online registration Scratch Card.
  6. To accept their admission online, successful candidates who have paid the non-refundable acceptance fee will need to buy the appropriate scratch card (UG:Adm Accept) and enter the PIN on the site.
  7. As soon as the PIN is verified and consumed, the candidate can then carefully proceed with filling out his/her Online Admission Form. The Online Admission Form will collect the details of the students’ pre-qualification details for the programme applied for.
3.                  Online Admission Form:
  1. Note that the Online Admission Form can NOT be edited by the student, therefore students’ are advised to fill and review their Online Admission Form carefully and then print out the form before submitting it to the website.
  2. Each student will then have his/her Online Admission Form screened by his/her College Officer, who will then clear the student as being qualified for admission, by stamping and signing the students form.
  3. Once a student has been cleared by his/her College Officer, the website can then automatically generate a Matriculation number for the student. Matriculation numbers are assigned in sequence as students are cleared.
4.                  Online Registration of Courses:
  1. After being assigned a matriculation number, a student can then proceed to register his/her courses for the first year.
  2. Printed copies of the Online Course Forms should be submitted to the College as required.
All technical reports or queries should be direct to the Director, ICT or WebMaster.
