The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Hilary Odo Edeoga has commissioned the newly constructed gigantic sign post of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike donated by Royal Partners Group. Speaking during the occasion, Prof. Edeoga thanked the members of the group for their good intention in assisting towards the development of the university, adding that this gesture of theirs will remain indelible in the of history of MOUAU.

He advised them to remain focused in their vision of forming the group and refrain from acts that undermine the of their colleagues welfare in the University.

Prof. Edeoga called on all to join hands with the present administration of the university under his leadership to take MOUAU to unimaginable heights.

Earlier in his speech, the president of Royal Partners Group, Dr. C. E. Nwadiogha commended the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Hilary Edeoga for the unfeigned respect and concern he gives to every member of the community irrespective of status. He disclosed that the group is made up of staff who are sincerely and genuinely desirous of partnering with the University Management to ensure that Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike records steady progress.

Dr. Nwadiogha stated that their maiden project of erecting a magnificent sign post for the University was undertaken to practically demonstrate their excitement that the citadel of learning was back on the track of growth and progress under the leadership of Prof. Edeoga.

In a vote of thanks, a member of the group and Dean, Students Affairs, Dr. Sam Ogbonnaya appreciated the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Edeoga for his encouraging leadership style in the University and assured him that the Royal Partners Group will continue to work with him towards the realization of his vision which will see to the progress and development of the MOUAU.
